Simple document and web page translation from one language to another

The National AgrAbility Project wants to reach as wide an audience as possible with our web information. Sometimes this means users would prefer to review web based documents and web pages in languages other than English. Commercial software that provides this type of service is available for use on individual computers or available for use on web servers, but can be costly. There are several web sites, however, that offer free document and free web page translation.

Below are instructions on how to use one such web site, AltaVista’s Babel Fish Translation site.

How to translate a web page:

Go to AltaVista's Babel Fish Translation site.

Enter your web site URL and select from a menu, the "from and to" language.

Click on the "translate" or "go" button, and the translated web page should appear as seen below, which is the National AgrAbility home page translated from English to Spanish.
