Workshop Registration

Fee includes: participation in sessions, materials, opening reception, three breakfasts, two luncheons, one dinner, break refreshments, and transportation for a half-day field trip to a AgrAbility for Pennsylvanians client's farm.

Early Bird Rates (registration postmarked on or before August 17, 2001)
Per-person, full-workshop package early bird rates are as follows:

  • $225.00 for non-AgrAbility professionals
  • $200.00 for AgrAbility staff
  • $150.00 for farmers or their family members (Scholarships may be available, call 800-914-4424)

Regular Conference Rates: Postmarked after August 17,

Day Rates**:

  • October 9 — $25.00 includes: admission to the opening evening reception and poster session.
  • October 10 — $125.00 includes: full day of sessions, breakfast, break refreshments, lunch, & dinner.
  • October 11 — $125.00 includes: breakfast, lunch, participation in technical sessions and farm visit, transportation to & from farm.
  • October 12 — $25.00 includes: breakfast and final plenary session

Hotel Reservations

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hilton Harrisburg &Towers.

Conference Room rates:

  • Single or double occupancy: $99.00 + tax
  • Triple occupancy: 109.00 + tax

Reservations must be made with the hotel by August 31 to receive the conference rate.

Accessible Rooms: The Hilton has reserved 11 accessible rooms.

To make a room reservation: Contact the Hilton Harrisburg at 717-233-6000. Tell the reservationist you will be attending the National AgrAbility Workshop.

The Hilton Harrisburg & Towers is connected to the Strawberry Square Complex by an enclosed walkway. The complex includes a food court, three restaurants and many boutique shops. In addition, the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts is also adjacent and connected to the hotel by an enclosed walkway. The State Capitol Complex, a wide range of restaurants, and the City Island Recreational Complex are within a two-block radius of the hotel.

Air Transportation

Harrisburg International Airport is twelve miles from the hotel.

Ground Transportation

The hotel has a free courtesy shuttle service that runs from the airport to the hotel on the half-hour and to the airport from the hotel on the hour between 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Please call the hotel ahead of your arrival to provide them with arrival time and flight information.

For free accessible shuttle service, please call the Director of Convention Services in advance at 717-233-6000 to make reservations. Give the director your flight information and accessibility needs.
